Module 7

There are many different types of lash extension tweezers that it can be very difficult to know which ones to use – choosing the best one can make a
significant difference.

As a Lash Technician, tweezers are one of the tools you’ll use the most. Which one you choose will make a big difference to your lash application speed and quality of work. It’s the main tool of your trade!

Because there are so many different types, it can be very difficult to know which ones to choose. It can come down to personal preference and the angle you prefer to work at, or even the space you have available to work with.

STRAIGHT TWEEZERS
Straight tweezers are probably the best ‘beginner’ tweezers as they’re easy to use to pick up lashes. Never use these to separate the top and bottom lashes – use the dolphin nosed tweezers in the upward position instead.

CURVED TWEEZERS
These tweezers are best for isolating individual lashes. They’re also easy to use to separate and pick up lashes.

DOLPHIN NOSE TWEEZERS
Dolphin Nose tweezers are mainly used for Russian Volume lash applications (can also be used for one-on-one applications too). Their pronounced curve help spread the lashes when creating fans and their fine tips don’t get in the way whenever you need to isolate lashes. This allows more space to work and a less restricted view of the lash area.
